This work is animated using only the marquee tag, which has been deprecated from the HTML standard for the Web. Therefore, the behavior is not guaranteed with browser types and version updates. If you collect this work, please be sure to understand the concept of the code, which is not persistent.

The text artwork animated by the marquee tag is based on the color schemes of 18th century European paintings of Venice, which have been extracted and broken down into text using Web Safe Color. Venice is now a city of tourists, but it is also a city that is sinking due to climate change, and the marquee tag is destined to be inactive in the future due to human behavior. Humans feel sorrow for what they know will be lost, even if it is digital. This shows that the Internet space is the new reality for humanity.

[Technical Supplement]

The work is animated only by the marquee tag. This is a deprecated tag, so it is not guaranteed to work, and may work differently in each browser. No JavaScript is used, and CSS is used only for styling. This work is complete with only one HTML file. The speed of the animation will seem slower on larger screens due to the nature of the marquee tag. Chrome is the preferred view.
