Breathing Earth
sensorium
Breathing Earth retrieves earthquake data observed daily around the world and visualizes each event—its epicenter and magnitude—as small protruding spheres on the surface of a white globe. The result is an animation in which the Earth appears to breathe and pulse as if it were alive. Technically, the project uses the latest seismic information published online by the International Data Centre (IDC), which aggregates data from a global seismograph network originally developed to detect nuclear tests. This data was automatically collected and updated each day, and the most recent two weeks were rendered into a continuously refreshed GIF animation. By connecting ecosystems that span different layers—nature (tectonic activity), technology (sensors and networks), and information (data visualization)—the work enables viewers to experience an “expanded ecology” in which the physical Earth and informational environments merge. In doing so, it invites the audience to sense themselves as part of this system, as if participating in the planet’s own neural circuitry. For this exhibition, the original GIF animations have been rediscovered and restored from the archive.
Night and Day
sensorium
Night and Day gathers images from web cameras installed around the world continuously and arranges them in a circular sequence, allowing the boundary between day and night to drift slowly across the screen. Using live images captured by publicly accessible surveillance cameras and nature-observation cameras, the work quietly reveals planetary-scale temporal flow. Behind it lies a major technological shift: in the mid-1990s, only a handful of live cameras existed, but within a few years their numbers exploded. And just as the Cambridge University coffee-pot camera was accidentally shared with the world, the sudden ability to witness a distant “now” was a defining sensation of the early Internet. For this exhibition, a new set of currently available cameras has been collected, and Koichiro Eto’s original implementation has been updated and adapted. It now runs within an emulated environment capable of executing legacy Java applets.
While you were…
sensorium
Births, deaths, tectonic shifts, traffic flows, and weather patterns are constantly unfolding somewhere on the planet. While you were… links these planetary-scale processes to the time experienced by an individual, making perceptible the fact that “the world is always proceeding in parallel.”

HODL
bouze
HODL is a full on-chain NFT that grows with the duration of ownership, and its growth is reset when the money is transferred from the wallet.
This work expresses the subjective value felt by the owner, as opposed to the objective value determined by the market, through the experience of owning an NFT with time.

In order to post a URL, you must have paid at least "the amount paid for the last post" (+ gas fee). This amount will be reset at 0:00 JST. If there are multiple submissions in a short period of time, the URL with the highest amount paid will be displayed. Other URLs may not be displayed.

Recycle bin
0xhaiku
Recycle Bin is conceptual art using NFT with the theme of rebirth. By sending unwanted NFT to the Recycle Bin address, the NFT will be Burned (discarded) and you will get the Recycle Bin's (trash bin) generative art NFT instead. New art will be generated based on the sent NFT. The pain of confronting the past and a prayer for rebirth are expressed.
Receipt
0xhaiku
Receipt is a conceptual art using NFT. The visual is determined by the amount you pay. You can pay any amount; you can mint (create) one token per price. All the code to draw is stored on the blockchain. The transaction itself is your participation in the art. The reality of the value of NFT is the exchange of data on the blockchain, which is used by many people who trust it. 0xhaiku believes that the memory of the act itself is the new value of art.
marquee shelter
0xhaiku
marquee shelter is a project to bury obsolete web technologies in the blockchain. The animation of the work is created using only the marquee tag, which has been deprecated from the HTML standard for creating websites. コナトゥスの目つきで / With the eyes of Conatus
Michibumi Ito
This work examines how it is possible to document the time created by the artist’s encounter with Okabe-san, a patient with an intractable disease, in the new medium of VR. Unlike the editing in which a single moment of time flows on a rectangular screen, which is often assumed to be a prerequisite for video, this work attempts to deconstruct contemporary vision and sense of time corrected by various devices by arranging images and texts as objects with variable shapes, positions, rotation, scale, and other aspects.
Thales’ Engraving / タレスの刻印
Masayuki Akamatsu
"Thales’ Engraving" refers to a photograph or video of the starry sky that uses a special long-exposure method. Star trails appear in the dark night sky, sometimes with clouds or thunder, as well as airplanes or satellites. The camera is digitally controlled by a unique device and program, and it takes several tens of minutes to several hours to shoot. With this kind of function, you can get a variety of images that differ each time depending on location, time, weather, and so on.
In addition, average smartphones and compact digital cameras were used for shooting, and post-production editing, such as color correction, was limited to a minimum.
A heaven in a wild flower

Slices
Alexis André
Slices" is a work about time and space, with 7 + 1 basic patterns and infinite variations.
Level: 0 as a species (or planet?) There are seven patterns, from Level: 0 as a seed (or planet?) to Level: 6, which gradually evolves into more complex shapes and blooms something like a flower, and Level: All, which is a combination of all of these patterns and is extremely horizontal, for a total of eight patterns.
Since all of these are generated generatively by the program, the variations are infinite, but finite variations are made possible by the NFT smart contract that generates the hash values from which the visual decisions are made.
Inspired by the exhibition space of NEORT++, this installation is intended to be viewed in a physical space and is generative art drawn from values generated on the blockchain.
